FAQ
Q: How much do you charge to service injectors?
A:
Service charges depend upon injector type. We charge $16 per injector for typical top feed fuel injectors and $18 for side feed and hose end fuel injectors. Bulk prices are available. Please
contact us
with any inquiries.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A:
Money order, cashier's check, Credit cards and PayPal.
Q: How much is the return shipping?
A:
When sending in 4 or more injectors for our full cleaning service, standard shipping is included. If sending in less than 4 injectors, a shipping charge of $5 will be added to the cost of service to cover return shipping charges.
*Domestic shipping only.
Q: When will my Injectors be returned?
A:
Normal turn-a-round time for servicing is 1-2 business days. Turn-around time can depend on several factors. These include: the type of injector being sent for service, the condition of the injectors, the current backlog of injectors in the shop, and also the method of shipping used. If we know your injectors are on their way, we can schedule a time slot for them to ensure they are completed on time and no service delays occur.
Q: How should I prepare my injectors for safe shipment?
A:
Using a paper towel or newspaper, wrap your injectors individually and put them in a plastic bag to keep the package from smelling of gasoline. Please leave the old parts on the injectors so we can ensure you get the proper replacements. We will return the old parts. *Please do not ship your fuel rails or additional charges will apply.
Please print the
Service Request Form
to include with your injectors.
Q: If my injectors (or one of my injectors) is not serviceable, will I still be charged?
A:
You will not be charged if we cannot perform the service. If the injector is DOA we will not perform the service. However, there is a minimum bench charge of $4 per injector for tests performed to declare the injector "DOA". Broken pintles, cracked plastic, damaged connections, leaky injectors, e.t.c. are not serviceable.
Q: What can I do if my injector(s) have been declared "DOA"?
A:
In a lot of cases, we are able to source a replacement. The replacement injectors are from various sources. Most are serviced injectors out of other cars. The price and availability vary depending on many things such as: Time (we may be able to get them, just no cores available at that time), Injector part number / how common it is.
Q: What happens during the testing and cleaning process?
A:

Q: Can you "flow match" or "balance" my injectors?
A:
The flow rate of the injectors cannot be changed or adjusted. In order to make a balanced or matched set of injectors, you need to start with more injectors than are needed for your application. All of the injectors would be cleaned and tested. Then, the injectors that flow closest to each other are grouped in sets according to their flow. This, in essence, makes a "matched" set.
Q: Do you service diesel or mechanical injectors?
A:
No, we only service electronic gasoline injectors.
Q: Do you do core returns?
A:
Sorry but, due to past issues we are no longer accepting cores.
Q: How long can I let serviced injectors sit around?
A:
We recommend that you reinstall serviced injectors within 30 days to minimize any chance of them sticking.
